PROCESS

The thermoplastic materials used in production are recyclable polymers in the form of extruded sheets produced from: ABS, polycarbonate, polymethacrylate, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), etc., specially adapted to the thermoforming process.

Plastic components and items are omnipresent in our day-to-day lives. Created using thermoforming, (a technique which involves making a material suitably ductile for shaping through contact with tooling) these are the DE VISU group’s core business in areas such as the aeronautical sector, industry and POS (point-of-sale advertising).

Thermoforming is particularly competitive when compared to other processes, regardless of the quantity to be produced. Moulds used for mass production are made from aluminium, while epoxy resin is used for smaller runs and even wood for "one-off" items.

Machining

The DE VISU group’s production sites have 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres and laser cutting machines to meet demanding technical requirements and for carrying out ultra-detailed work on items with even the most complex shapes.

Assembly

The manufacturing of presentation trays was originally something of an art. In the DE VISU group, it is a separate assembly technique in its own right. This includes the shaping of items through the cutting, folding and gluing of plastic materials.  Our capabilities in this field enable us to produce either single "one-off" items or small and medium runs.

The DE VISU group boasts fully integrated painting booths and silk screen printing areas.
